Abstract

Arthritis is one of the most common chronic conditions affecting the joints, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. This presentation explores the various types of arthritis, their underlying causes, and the mechanisms that contribute to joint pain. While conventional medicine offers several treatment options, acupuncture has emerged as a safe and effective complementary therapy. Through the stimulation of specific acupuncture points, this ancient healing practice helps reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and improve joint function by restoring the body’s natural energy balance. Clinical evidence and traditional practice both support the effectiveness of acupuncture in managing arthritis and enhancing overall quality of life. The session highlights key acupuncture points used in arthritis treatment and discusses how acupuncture contributes to the management of more than 100 health conditions.
